IBPO Executive Board

Hello, my name is Alison Dietz.  I was born in Sarasota and I am a proud graduate of Riverview High School and the University of Florida.  I’ve been teaching the Kiltie Band Highland Dancers for the past 30 years and also worked at ABC 7 News as a producer and reporter.  My husband and I have 2 daughters; one is currently a senior in the IBDP Program and the other is a senior at UF after graduating from the IBCP Program (Engineering pathway).  I was the PTO President at Phillippi Shores Elementary for 2 years and I am a member of the RHS Distinguished Alumni Hall of Fame Committee.  I look forward to serving the IBPO as Co-President (again)!

Hey everyone! My name is Kristin, and I'm a new Sarasota resident, having moved here in the summer of 2024. My daughter, Stella, is a sophomore who is absolutely loving the IB program! I'm a proud Midwesterner, having grown up in the northern suburbs of Chicago and gone to the University of Iowa. I'm a rabid Iowa Hawkeye fan, so if you see me in black and gold, you know why! In the past, I've served as the "room mom" at much smaller schools, and I'm excited to dive in and get to know all of you. When I'm not volunteering, I'm busy running my own association management company, with clients all over the US.

My name is Jamie Black, and I’m honored to serve in my third year as Treasurer of the Riverview IB Parent Organization. After previously serving as PTO Vice President and President at Lakeview Elementary, I’ve loved staying involved as my kids have grown.

My daughter, Kendal, is currently a Junior in the IB program, and I’m so proud to be walking through this exciting journey with her. My son, Lucas, recently graduated from FLVS and launched his own drone photography business last year, stepping confidently into the world of entrepreneurship.

Originally from Pittsburgh (Go Steelers!), my family and I moved to Sarasota over 20 years ago and have loved calling it home. I’m the owner of Concierge Capital, a residential and commercial mortgage brokerage, and Concierge Closing, which provides notary and signing services throughout Florida. I'm also an active member of Impact 100 SRQ and enjoy giving back to the community whenever I can.  Looking forward to another great year supporting our IB students and families!
